ride out

just been out with my friend he's just bought a 1200gs and wanted a day out
so we set of over holme moss to matlock bath still got snow up on the tops
from woodhead to glossop a bit icy
after that the roads were dry
all the way to matlock bath great ride there
not many bikes there in fact i was a bit disapointed
bloody cold heated grips are fantastic
had a poxy burger in a dirty cafe in matlock bath in fact i have stomach ache so won't be going in that one again
nice ride out wouldn't normally ride in icy weather glad i did round trip 150 miles
my friend loved his 1200
i had to ride my 04 1150gsa behind just in case he broke down

I took my trusty R100GSPD out yesterday. Boy was it Cold !!

Wend from Darlo to Northallerton, then East to Leeming Bar and Bedale, then north to Leyburn, and back through Richmond and home.

Enjoyed it - but bloody cold all the same.

Georgia was at work so I had a run up to Stanhope on her R1100GS.
She wasnt best pleased......You've covered my Bike in Salt
