Rider 2 usa map install

I have done a quick search but not found the info I need. Sorry if this has been covered already.

I have a Rider 2 that came with UK maps only. The SD card is small at around 400 MB and I purchased the USA map at 1515 MB. This obviously won't fit so I tried to install the operating system and USA map only.

The content is on the SD card but when I put it into the rider 2 the card is not recognised.

Formatting is FAT 32. How do I determine which SD card is compatable? Am I doing anything else incorrectly?

Eventually got it sorted. Used the suggestion by kumo in this post http://discussions.tomtom.com/t5/RIDER/TomTom-Rider-2-lack-of-memory/td-p/24715

Just needed to copy all of the original SD content excluding the uk map to the new SD card then installed the USA map.

Will keep this thread up in case it helps anybody

Just need need to borrow/rent a yoof to do the computery bit, now.
