Rider training in Humberside area?

Now then,

Since I live in wonderful ( ! ) Grimsby, I'm looking for a riding instructor in Humberside/Lincolnshire, and I'd rather go from personal recomendations, but I don't know any riders around here!

Does anyone know of anyone around this area? I do have a car so can travel further afield.

I've heard of someone in Scunthorpe who uses an F650Gs as the training bike, but I've no idea who that is!

Humberside police do assessed rides out, carnt recall the name, Dave Griffin who's a top boss started it nationally ( bikesafe rings a bell), however I have no dates, try plods web site it may well be on there or I think SGT called Chris Hood runs it, he a traffic man but a good rider and he works in hull, if no joy on plod website, try their number 0845 6060222 ( be prepared for a wait) and ask to speak to him he 's in the hull traffic dept, they will sort you out, they will follow you, and then give advice on your riding, it helped me no end about 5 years ago, it was free ( dont know if it costs now), might be worth a bit of internet time or a couple of phone calls, they usually have a advert campaign as well, hope this helps
