Rider wiring

can anyone tell me how they have wired there rider to the bikes power supply, i.e. do you just take the supplied power cable and attach to the battery direct or do you splice into some existing live and negative cables?

just put a couple of ring terminals on the wires with an inline fuseholder on the live feed direct to the battery. nick

I've wired the negative straight to the battery terminal via a ring terminal as you said. I've also wired the positive to the positive on the battery with a 5 amp inline fuse. It all works just want to check with everyone on here if this sounds all ok....and that I won't melt the bike!!
