I bought my bike ('05 R1150 GSA) second hand from a dealer. At the time he said the previous owner hadn't returned the instruction books and that he would get some new ones from BWM.

The ones he has given me have pictures of an R1150 GS on them and don't seem to have any of the 'Adventure' extras included in them. Has he given me the wrong book? :nenau

In addition the toolkit is tiny. I was always led to believe that BWM's came with really good toolkits? :nenau

Thanks in advance for the info. :bow

Ask your dealer for a toolkit upgrade, under warranty

Mutley......yer 1150 ain`t what`s referred to as an Airhead....you`d get better response by moving this to the Technical or Equipment and Toys section..... ;)

Mr. Oilhead, No! You have not been given the wrong one. Along with the 1150GS manual you get another thinner booklet for the Adventure.

The adventure booklet gives you the same answer to all maintenance jobs.....'TAKE IT TO THE DEALERS AND COUGH UP THE DOSH'. :nono :nono
