I want to put on some Vario panniers on my 1200gs. So I call the duopoly of dublin dealers. Maddocks say €750 Duffy's €800. Out of interest I phone a BMW dealer in birmingham where i'm going to be next week. They say £450...(€567) at todays rate. I understand that Ireland is an expensive place to do business but thats ridiculous. They need to get a bit more competetive if they want to survive a recession. Rant over. p.s Hursts up North don't seem to answer phone on a saturday
