Yep thats me. I'll come out when I get a lighter bike or you do some ridiculously easy lanes!! Speaking of which I tried to ride down the lane at frensham pond car park but got shouted at by loads of old codgers with walking sticks and dogs. maybe I was going down the wrong path? It looked the same as the one in your you tube clip though.

If you approach the little pond from the small (~20 cars) car park nearest the A287 then this is a byway - the only one - that crosses the common. It is marked as such where it narrows to a single vehicle width entrance. Gimme a shout if you want to nip out one lunchtime for a look, I'm just up the road in Rowledge most days ;-)
