Winter is appraching and I have no choice but to put the bike to bed.
This is the best forum I have ever come across, advice and information is always available and there is the odd, well several scary stories.
Over 7 years of couriering none of my jap bikes gave me real problems, xj9 was the best at 72,000 miles before a women killed it and nearly me.
My point is and one which has come up a few times, why are shaft drives going bang on these bikes? Why are the electrics not upto our expectations?
Perhaps if 20 years ago there was a forum discussing the ups and downs of a xj9 there may have been loads of complaints.
My Adventure is going strong, no problems and its the only one here
No RAC no AA so I carry a spare FPC and full tool kit, should I carry a spare battery and div drive?
