Although grafting today, I was being bombarded by multi-media text messages from my one, Sarah Teach, who had travelled from the Wirral back to her home town of Bolton.
To be exact, she was visiting Rivington Barn, part of the Leverhulme Estate near Horwich.
This place, if you haven't visited is a motorcyclist meeting venue and I must admit, if you need to see a type of bike and ask the owner some questions that you wouldn't ask a salesman or a salesman wouldn't answer, this is the place to go.
Two pictures of GS's arrived to my phone, a 1150 and a one day old 1200. Were these bike yours? If so, thanks very much for being polite and informative towards my girlie. Apparently she knows all about folding pannier systems now (!)and as I have a 12GSA coming soon for my birthday, a couple of said panniers may be accompanying it. Hint-hint!!
I hope you are enjoying you new machine and I can't wait to be riding to Rivvy on a Sunday myself, with Teach of course. The only down side will be that Hobbes the Golden Retriever won't be able to attend.
Cheers and stay safe.
Timpo.
