Rivington Barn tomorrow, but where else up that way?

Sarah teach wants to visit her beloved Horwich tomorrow, but where else up that way is worth a visit? I'm heading out that way with Dr LC8 at 1030hrs.
Twisty roads or a decent cafe will do me?
Thinking of over towards Longridge, etc, but I'm open to suggestions.

If you are going up to Longridge then why not head over to the 'trough of bowland', nice little cafes at Dunsop bridge and Slaidburn. The Hark To Bounty pub in Slaidburn does nice bar meals, perhaps a ride over the moors from Slaidburn to Bentham, then you are handy to get to the M6 at Lancaster for heading home.

Make your way to Clitheroe then take this route through Waddington to the Inn at Whitewell. Stop there for coffee on the patio overlooking the river (I promise you it's the finest place in the Northwest) before proceeding on a mile or so the Dunsop Bridge

If you follow the Dunsop Bridge to Slaidburn road and follow it on to Wigglesworth, hang a right through Tosside and Bolton By Bowland, back to the A59 at Sawley. Couple of sharp crests but a cracking road.
