I like this other than the large gap above the rear tyre and the seat and rear cowl could extend rearward a bit more. I wonder if the siamese headers will make it to production and if they do how long until the weld breaks?

Is that the XLCR from the 70s in the background of the second photo?
Thought so. I’ve never really been a HD fan, but as a (much) younger man, I did like the look of it.
I was in my mid 20's when it came out and thought it was one of the coolest motorcycles at that time. Unfortunately I had little money for what was at the time an expensive motorcycle........ Now all the geezers that were in the same boat can buy the new RMCR. 
IMO the XLCR was the most interesting bike Harley ever made. This new one's not a bad homage to it.
I agree, Paul. If Harley makes it I sure hope it sells better than the XLCR though. They were only made 2-3 years and back in 1979-80 dealers were having to substantially discount to move them. Same a few years later with the XR1000 which was another cool motorcycle produced only for a couple years.
