Road Riding and ABS Pro ?

Just wondered how many people ride (normal use, road riding only) with ABS Pro activated?
Pro's, Con's and any advice would be appreciated.

Go far too fast into a corner, mid corner pull the brakes hard! If the bike sits up and exits the corner you don't have it. A safer way would be to get the build date from the vin number and look it up from when it was avaliable.

To the OP there is no downside to having it on, I don't think you can switch it off without switching the whole abs system off anyway.

I think that on the XR if you engage stupid dynamic pro mode it disengages the ABS pro

I could be wrong as i have not RTFM

I think this is the ABS pro sensor module under the pillion seat.

Who else has one of these under the seat and who doesn't?

That's the control unit for the pressure sensors in the wheels

The riding gods on here don't need any such gadgetry!

On the road I'm not sure why you would consider removing a safety device that may come in useful at some point.

I have found myself trailing the braking deeper into corners without the bike feeling like its wanting to stand up and making the bike feel more comfortable through the turn, though not sure I am carrying any additional speed it just feel more controlled for the exit.

I think it is post September or something like that IE a 2016 model. You can thank the Americans for the stupid model years!

Exactly, it's only the MY 16 bikes that have it.
