After the worst rain since the 60's in the Todra/ Dades gorge area, the area is chaos off the main roads, and some of the pistes are impassable on a GS ( except if your name is Rick on an HP2 :D ) .

The road up the todra gorge has all but disappeared, and the hotel at the bottom is badly damaged.

Lots of villages have no electricity. The village of Agoudal doesn't expect any re-connection until April next year  due to winter about to start.

So bear in mind if your planning any off piste rides in the area in the not to distant future.

Sounds like a recommendation then? :thumb

Had one guy in a river, only his helmet peek visable, bike not running and at 10,000ft in the late afternoon miles away from anywhere  -

Mind you, i can think of a couple of people i'd like to recommend it to, to help them get things into perspective.

Some great sections of impromptu pistes. Roads were apparently open almost immediately and the people at Agoudal said there was no way they would miss the episodes of 'Desperate Housewifes' on their SatTVs through the winter, so the elec was fixed as well.

Went all way to Imilchil. No snow at the time. Some falls since.

Excellent Tim:thumb

Any news on the state of the piste between Imilchil and Midelt? I'm hoping to do that one in April
