I left my rok straps behind on a trip last year. Popped down to Scottish Mountain Gear in Musselburgh as I'd noticed on a previous visit that they had webbing , plastic buckles etc. A couple of minutes describing what I wanted to the "girls" in the workshop and they ran me up a pair of very adequate replacements. Black nylon webbing, looped and stitched so that one end can be looped through and the loop secured to the frame. Male and female adjustable buckles at the other end which can be clipped into each other. Mount on the bike and over the dry bag or WHY, tighten at both buckles and job done! A tenner, which I suspect would have been less if the boss had not been around at the time! The girls also got a couple of packs of biccies from the Aldi down the road a bit! (They also accept do'nuts if you want to take a bribe / incentive to do the job!)

SMG also do repairs to tents, Gore tex jackets etc as their normal fare. Really excellent, helpful people.

Worth knowing - for bespoke straps to replace those lost.

Cheers!

Handy to know - I have a magnetic tank bag which was fine on my old FJR but my GS has a plastic tank and I've lost all the straps for it. Sounds like these fine folks could help!
