Following the earlier posts, there are still a few places left on the inaugural Riding Romania tour in June.

Leaving the UK - Saturday June 11th, returning Sunday July 3rd - we offer a really special trip through the heart of the Carpathian Mountains and Transylvania. Excellent riding, stunning scenery, good quality accomodation and superb hospitality is promised.


Wanna bring the wife/mistress/girlfriend ? Why not fly them to Budapest and the start of the real adventure....most discount airlines fly there!

We will take all the hassle of organising an exploration of the jewel in the crown of Eastern Europe on for you...We will arrange your ferry and all accomodation during the trip...

Should be over end of May for a couple of weeks, before coming back for a few days and off again with the official tour.

If you are around Romania or Serbia in the last two weeks of May we'll have to have a beer somewhere

PS I notice from the route you sent that you appear to be heading prety much down the main road route into Romania. A detour along the Northern Border through Maramures and down along the Moldovian Carpathians would take you through some much nicer scenary and past more World Herratage sites than you could shake a ****** stick at.
I'll send you some details in a week or so.

Leaving Hull June 11th and returning on Tuesday June 5th....

As well as a magical time in the Carpathians...we are calling in at the BMW Party at Garmisch. This is going to be an excellent trip...good company and some amazing roads!

This is the trip of a lifetime. I'd tentatively booked to go but had to cancel due to other commitments. I've since been to Romania on business and have to say it's THE most beautiful place I've visited:

Alpine scenery with a backdrop of snow capped mountains.

Genuinely friendly people who love to share the experiences of others.

Great beer, wine and food.

And, best of all: twisties. All day every day. If you go in the car you'll never stop saying 'if only I'd come on the bike'. It really is that good.

Don't go in the car! Take this trip. Then, when you get back, post a report here and really pi.. me off!!!
