Rotating .avi's

I’ve got some .avi file’s I shot with a canon digital camera. Problem is I need to rotate them 90 degrees. Having to watch them is giving me neck ache!

I’ve opened them in all the programmes I have for viewing them and non gives the option to rotate. Is there a free prog out there like Ifran view that will rotate them?

There is this program, shareware, expires after 21 days unless you pay for it.....but am sure there must be others out there as well.....
