Sunday afternoon and the sun was shining so i thought i'd try and find the WOMBLES FOOTPRINTS
Its been a long time since i was last there so off i went into the north northumberland countryside.
I knew the rough area where they were so it was a time for some exploring
Not down hear
There's no signs on the roadside but this track looks intresting
Sure enough hiding in the trees the WOMBLES FOOTPRINTS
These were made along time ago by the Wombles, before they moved to Wimbledon common
OK not really they're known locally as the WOMBLES FOOTPRINTS
But you never know it might have been the Wombles
After all the excitment i headed towards Wooler passing the Gliding club just as a plane and glider were taking off
After that it was up onto Wooler common
The Cheviot hills in the back ground
Couldn't pass a ford without trying it
Nice track down no water though
Young calves playing in the field reminds me there's beef for tea
Just time for a run up Langleeford before the sun sets
The sign says no entry better take a look then
Nice view from the top
Then it was off home for tea
Bit more info here about Roughting Linn

Sorry it's a bit brief but i spent 2hrs last night doing it only to lose it when i had a power cut
