I was looking for a way to calculate the shortest distance between a number of waypoints which mapsource does not do. Found this little tool that can calculate up to 24 points. Just copy your waypoints from mapsource into the dialog box and let it do its thing. Seems to work fairly well!

The Garmin Nuvi 700 series has full route optomization for multiple waypoints.

So can the 2610 that I use. More convienient to do it on the pc though.
