Route Recommendations Please

Hey up Tossers,

I am travelling through Wales on Thursday the 25th March, I’m going to stay over night at Cemaes Bay, then Friday morning 10-15 mins run to the Port for the GSer MMMMMMT meeting in Ireland.

I am taking my time riding over from Sheffield to Wales during the day and would like to know if there is any must do roads or recommended routes.

I have thought about coming into Wales via Stoke - Whitchurch - Llangollen etc, or I could come over thru Cheshire – Winsford - Chester then above Wrexham and on.

Could anyone give any suggestions for routes and maybe food and water hostelries.
I'd even buy a cup of tea for any one who fancies a ride? Only 1 cup mind. , in fact we could share it.....

Stoke Nantwich Wrexham Llangollen then up the A5 would put you on nice A roads most of the way over, if you want dual carriageway/motorway then M56/A55 is the way to go.
