Route to Czech Republic ?

A couple of us heading out to Brno for the GP next week.Planning to do Dover Calias on the Wednesday leaving us a good two days to ride to Brno.
Hoping to take in some good roads, mountains etc - any reccomendations from people who may have done this route would be apprciated.

Shame I didn't see this before. How did you get on? Were you met with loads of confusing road signs and road blocks? (Road block that you just ignore...)
