Routes in Wales

Hi all,
looking for a a bit of local advice, i am arrving in Pembroke on saturday morning with the intention of geting some miles down in the Welsh Countryside. Can anyone reccomend any areas or routes worth a look, Llandidrod wells has been recommnded to me as a good sarting point.
Any advice appreciate.

I'm ok, but you do realise that its Mothers Day this Sunday. Dennis can't make it because of MD; I've got the kids all day Saturday, so I'll be ok for Sunday but if you want to stall it a week it's ok with me.

thanks for posting your route.
I was working nights this week & I saw your post early Saturday morning. I put it into my Garmin & went to sleep.
12 o'clock midday I set off and did my usual ride through Denbigh & Ffestiniog & decided to go as far as your route. I got as far as Llyn Clywedog Reservoir & took some great photos. It was a sunny day on Saturday & I really enjoyed myself. Just to get to the North tip of your route was a 225 mile round trip for me but I will return at a later date & do it all.

Thanks for a great suggestion that took me away from my usual ride.

Taff, I returned yesterday & your route was fantastic.

I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Local knowledge is a great thing, I never would have know to ride there.
Got any other routes that are similar?

I don't live far from North Wales so it's been my playground for years.
I've ridden Llangollen, Ffestiniog, Bala & Betws-y-Coed etc to death & Taff's post was a refreshing change. I had a great time yesterday & the route around Llyn Clymedog Reservoir had it all..stunning scenery, off road if you wanted it & even a courting couple who were too engrosed in their activities to notice me passing until it was too late I've never seen a woman pull her top up so fast!

Summer's gonna be a good 'un this year!

I may have one or two. Sorry its taken so long to post them, but now that I've got my arm in plaster I've got more time because I can't go out on the bike. Another 3 weeks of this and all my paperwork should be up to date.

These are some of my personal favourites - others may disagree, but I had fun on them.

Hi Andy,

I think you need to reply, then scroll right down to manage attachments, browse your pc for the file then upload it. You mght not see it in the preview (if I remember correctly) but it will be there when you post.

This could be all wrong, but a similar approach worked for me when I posted a photo.

as this is now hopefully a 2 day trip - we need a good B+B / reasonable Hotel.
