Hello again fellow GSers.

It's been a while since my last post but I have been slaving away in the background with a few friends to get a new website up and running.

Firstly I'd like to thank all of you for the great comments you have made about the items I have been designing.

Secondly may I introduce www.ruggedroads.co.uk to you all.
Please take a look on the site. It's full of the items I have designed that are now being manufactured for me by a local fabricator.

There will be more and more items coming on to the site in the next few months so please check back every week or so to check..

Or if there is anything specific you might need please fill in the contact info on the website and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Just to keep you updated, as Chunk is a bit on the busy side. We've now got a couple of items for the F650GS and Dakar:

Have patience. They are coming. But you've all seen the shape. They are formed plastic and we need to replicate the fitting in metal which involves an awful lot of work. We are also looking at sourcing some good locks for them, you don't want anything that's not up to scratch, so it's gonna take just a little bit longer.

Update On Delivery Charges

Having listened to our customers and visitors to our website, it seems that the cost of postage is more important than receiving guaranteed next day delivery.

We've taken this on board and postage charges are now entirely dependant upon the weight of your order. Please see our delivery charges to see what we will be charging.

As you add items to your shopping basket, the applicable postage charge will apply. Therefore, the more items you order, the more the postage charge will be, up to a certain amount. Maximum postage will be £6.95 in the UK. Orders weighing under 1kg will be posted using 1st class Royal Mail Recorded Delivery Service.

We endeavour to despatch all orders on the same working day they are placed (we do not ship on Saturdays and Sundays). You will receive an email notification as soon as your order is despatched.

However, for those of you who live abroad, only the UK postage charge will show until you reach the checkout stage and put in your delivery country. The applicable postage charge will then be displayed prior to you completing your purchase. But, if you want to keep a track of the postage costs as you go along, the weight of each item is displayed in the item description for your information.

As always, we listen to what our customers want and endeavour to make it happen

Stevethekiwi we're working as fast as we can R1100 stuff will be coming along but we don't have easy access to measure one just yet, but it is on the list of things to do.
