Basically the Rukka Pathfind or Voyage.

480 v 700.

Is the difference big enough?

I am hopefully avoiding big downpours but there’s always that caught out moment on a motorway before you can get to a services!

Anyone owned either/both?

Look at a 2 layer Gore-tex laminated option instead. Lighter & more flexible than 3 layer, with a huge cost saving. Klim have the CarlsBad or Latitude. Rukka have the Kalix, and potentially another option.

where are you going and when? that should dictate what you get, me all year round, Netherlands/Germany in November and in January, so 3 layer every time, don't care how heavy or any of the other negatives I want waterproof as possible and robust if I chuck it down the road
