Anyone out there got a Rukka suit which has faded?

I have both my trousers and Jacket replaced, now the trousers have changed colour again due to the sun. I really don't expect this from very expensive trousers after about 12 mths. I know that I have seen a few Rukka suits that have faded, is this a Rukka feature or does BMW suits have the same problem.

Please don't suggest HG because I haven't seen any suitable gear for ladies which is why I buy Rukka and BMW.

Yes..

I have an Armadillo jacket and trousers that have turned a "lovely" beetroot colour.

I think this is a byproduct of the bonded goretex material.

I suppose I should think about taking it back (as one of the reasons I use Rukka is the five year warranty) and I have thought about using alternatives but, as I found out yesterday in a really heavy downpour, it's 100% still waterproof.

Same problem with my Armadillo suit now 2 years old. I would have lived with the fetching beetroot partial fading in exposed areas but it has developed a leak on the inside of the left elbow so time to get it replaced.

Complication is I bought it from Germany while touring because my old HG jacket leaked (had a sizeable off which explained the goretex being teased out and leaking) and the UK Agent won't play ball. Having said that Bikerland who I bought it from in Baden-Baden are so far being superstars in arranging replacement, even to the point of looking for photos in advance of me sending it so they can start the replacement process early. Makes all the difference really.

yes, my streetguard 2 faded to a purpley colour. I think it's something to do with that cool black material that doesn't absorb heat so much (forgot what it's called).
It happened within a year when I got it, so I got it replaced for free, then it happened again, and I didn't bother.
I think it looks OK !

I bought my Rukka jacket from Smart Riders, Christchurch. When visiting the store some two years after the purchase the proprietor commented that the colour of the jacket fading. One 'phone call later and a replacement was organised under the Rukka five year warranty.

I also bought my suit from SmartRiders and popped in there the other day and they changed it for me. I know Rukka is expensive but this is fantastic service:bounce1

Faded Rukka

You chaps are doing better than me. I have an Armas jacket that's just a couple of years old. It is a "black" jacket that has turned grey in places! Rukka tell me it's "not a warranty issue". It took them six weeks to arrive at this opinion. The slightly newer trousers are going the same way. (I had an Armadillo jacket prior to this. It turned a kind of beetroot colour. Rukka eventually changed that).
Looks like the small claims court then.
Cheers.
