TBH Mr DB average temps of 27c is still way too hot for the Armas, well for me anyway, and there's another problem, not only are we all different in where our priorities lie with regard to what we want our kit to do but we all tolerate heat/cold differently! TFL black is very good at deflecting the suns rays but probably doesn't help with high humidity.
If it was me doing this trip I would (optimistically!) assume it was going to be hot and dry and dress accordingly but I would have a decent set of waterproofs handy for when/if it rains or gets cool.

There was also a model called all-road or adventure or something which looked really good, I suppose this might be an old model now and so you might find a promotion?

The AllRoad model has been replaced by the AiRoad....seems a good choice for me, and I've got one coming into the dealers for me to try.
It seems very much like the Athos, but with a liner, and some venting.
I've also managed to get to try on some other jackets in the Rukka range.
I finally got to see, and try on, a Kalahari jacket.
Seemed like a good hot climate jacket, but not so sure about the waterproof qualities?
Also tried the AllRoad, the Armadillo, and the Armax.....
....I'm taken with the Armas, but really like the look of the AiRoad...so it'll be interesting to see one in the flesh.
My other issue I've now got is sizing....most stockist only stock from size 50euro....but I'm a 48 I think, subject to actually getting to try one on...but nobody stocks them, much of the ranges don't feature a 48...or only as a 'special order' which takes weeks.
Anyone got a 48...and how much smaller than a 50 are they?..... I could probably get away with a 50....but feel a 48 would fit better.
I'm in the same boat as you with sizing, being a 38. I tried on the Athos, ArmaS and Armadillo, all in size 50 (uk40)
The Athos and ArmaS felt very similar and were comfortable with the Armadillo feeling slightly bigger. I'm certain I want the ArmaS and equally certain that a 48 would be perfect. Unfortunatley i'm not so certain my bank manager would be so forgiving

I find the sizing policy of Rukka, or at least the importer, a bit confusing.
None of the dealers are stocking 48's, although stocking sizes up to 'very large!'
I think that's strange, and annoying, as although they are a pricey range, so stocking the full range equates to a high stock value, most dealers do stock a full size range available....
....the problem being the importers don't import much below 50.
I'm sure I could wear a 50....but they don't fit quite right, and I feel a 48 will fit a lot better....and at the prices they charge I'd be expecting a well made, high spec, and most importantly, well fitting jacket/suit!
And if the jackets do all they claim, by keeping you warm/cool etc, then there is a very good chance you'll be wearing thin techinical clothing underneath.
Although I'd love a Rukka....how the cheaper alternatives fit, and the financial saving, is swaying me.
Come on Rukka, import the 48 in all the range
