Joined up with Paul Devall & Co today on a run out to Brugge to visit the Halve Maan Brewery...nice meeting you Paul...

I was puzzled when I read this post as I thought I both knew and had in fact visited both of the breweries in Bruges. These are the Gouden Boum Brewery (45 Langestraat) and famous for it's Brugse Triple, and Straffe Hendrik Brewery (26 Walplein). However a Google search shows that in April this year the Straffe Hendrik, which oddly had not brewed beer for some years, had reverted to the family name of De Halve Maan and had recommenced brewing once more.

Bruges is one of my favourite places and I must have been there at least fifteen times. It looks like you all had a good time. Cheers!

Grand place Brugge. spent a bit of time there meself. Christmas is a good time to be there, Very pretty with the lights and all.
