Runtime error. What's that then?

I keep getting a message on my laptop that goes something like this:

microsoft visual c++ Runtime library

runtime error

program:c:\WINDOWS\Temp\SL2.tmp

this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the applications support team for more information.


So anybody know what that means? Who's the support team then?
Everything seems to work OK and I just close the message dialogue box when it comes up. Any help would be appreciated.

It means you're a victim to something that has been badly coded. Generally there aint a lot you can do about it

Never thought of myself as a victim. Can't I just send the boys round and get them to code it a bit better?
