Rust on spokes

Hi Folks,

Can anyone recommend rust killer ? I wish to get rid of rust on the spoke tentioners on an GS front and rear wheels, it has slowly crept up on the
wheels over the last few months, I know good old elbow grease can work wonders but this rust is a little too engrained.

You might try painting the corroded parts with something like Kurust, it will stop the rot but will probably not look pretty.

be careful - those tensioners seize in place and you can end up destroying the rim if you ever have to get them out

I tried krust in a small resealable tube. Works great. It looks better and a bit of elbow grese at that stage with autosol could do the job.
