Thanks for turning up chaps....and for a great evening's entertainment :thumb:

So there we were, Mucky Helmet (David) and meself first...all ready for a bit of civilised fun when  we heard a certain honorable gennelman yelling 'TOSSERS!!' from the pub.........lo and behold Judge and Dave were standing there taking the pee :D

(sadly, Judge was ...er...washing his hair...no, re-arranging his album collection in alphabetical order......no, sorry, he'd forgotten to turn the oven off.......er........well i'm sure he had a good reason for not coming out to play......... :D )

One by one they rolled in.......

Dirk and one of his two mates who joined us...one on a tart's handbag and the other on some jap thing ;)

After much piss taking, the venerable gennelman actually deigned to get his feet wet........

PS please note a certain MR Masters in the background taking the dry route  :D

Sadly I missed Speggo (Steve) and Squadron Leader (Phil) cleaning their bikes, and as I'm crap with names I'm afraid I cant remember Dirk's rather big mates name.......the chap on the Honda was N.T....Entee.....er.........sorry!

:help

But anyway, the gang assembled and we got off nicely at 6.30............

(sorry Andy...kind of shot of there...please accept a late in the day 'seeya later tosser :D )

Eynsford is a good meeting point....easy to find and a photogenic ford.......from there we went off south towards Otford and turned left onto the Pilgrim's way......

Being a bit of a newb at that sort of thing I must admit I cocked up on the route a tad......right in the middle of two sections of legal stuff is 500 metres or so of Bridleway (damn..oops!!!! sorry chaps) .....bloody stupid though, that bit is actually far better suited to being a BOAT or RUPP than a section a mile further on that was a crumbling foot wide rut......

Ah well, I'll be much more carefull next time.......

We followed the PIlgrim's way tracks through to Cuxton and the seth effricans had to leave us...nice meeting you guys and hope you'll come out to play again :D

OI SPEGGO YOU NIT!!!

YOU CAN'T GET A FRIGGIN GREAT BIG GS THROUGH THERE!!!! :D

speggo1.jpg

Well actually ....he did..........

NEARLY :D

Much respect to Steve actually.......and the others on GS's.....that wasn't a place they were designed to go.........

We missed the best photo op of the ride though.....all but Mucky Helmet met at the end of that bit of track and we waited for the red pogo stick to join us.....and waited.....and waited.......

Ooooops, we'd better go back and find him :D

Right where that pic of Speggo was is a crumbly washed-out bit....poor old David had spun his back wheel out and ended up a few feet below the level of the track down a ditch........but a bit of heave-oh got him out :D:D

Heading up towards Meopham on another route, we found a nice valley .......I shot off down and got the camera out..a nice easy ride down and a chance for a bit of showing off for the boys......

track1.jpg

And down they came.......

Ready..ready.........

So in time-honored GSer tradition, we find a pub.......nice little place on Meopham Green......

pub1.jpg

After his heroics on the big beasty, Speggo thought he was deserving of a good pint........er.....

Steve.....you're sposed to use the door mate........

pub2.jpg

And taking the bike in tends to be frowned on ;)

So that was it......started at 6ish, left the pub at 9 for the rides home, a few miles of fun and a good laugh.....

Thanks again guys......and as we said, we should do it again very soon :thumb:

Err..

...I believe they call it target fixation. If I'd thought about it I could have taken a piccy of the "XR in Fence" meself.

Anyhow, here's the man himself in the ford.....
