Just had a test ride and all seemed good with the exception of wind/buffeting,has any ower exprerienced this and solved it?Much more than a standard 1200GS with Givi 330 screen any feedback welcome.
Try riding a XT660Z Tenere (current version) then the S10.. the S10 will seem to be a very calm place . My S10 is ok on the stock screen lifted one hole on the normal mounts if I'm not wearing my Shoei Hornet.
Got the Givi Airflow as well as the Winglet thingy's and it is as good as the GS with Airflow and Wingletts was.
Recently saw a MadStad bracket and was quite impressed (probably still need to add a taller screen as well) so maybe check them out before you make any final decisions.
Indeed. I find my S10 fairly calm, especially after a R1150GS. There again, I'm pretty short for an S10 rider at 5'8" (inside leg 31" so short in the torso/head arrangement)
If I do purchase a S10 I will probably put a givi screen and winglets.Just one further question are the winglets genuine Yamaha people have put on there bikes or is there a choice?Rgds Allan
I've seen other winglets on ebay , powerbronze from memory, a reasonable amount cheaper than the yam ones but look to be the same style . I was almost tempted but they were tinted and I want ones that match the stock screen colour.

Winglets are good don't know why they are not standard, I have an MRA screen with the adjustable spoiler and used some washers on the mounting bolts to adjust the angle of the screen. That along with being able to adjust the spoiler on the move works well for me.
