All the details below.... yes I know I could strip the goodies I've added and sell them separately but for various reasons I'm not going that route.
All keys, service book etc present.
Just serviced by Bristol Motorrad. Full BMW Dealer service history.
Plenty of life in the tyres.
The bike is probably the highest spec you could wish for plus tasteful / practical mods by me in addition...

Registered 31/08/2023 low mileage (just over 4K miles) fully loaded 'M' spec bike (see attached PDF showing the factory fitted full list of option/extras + M Light Wheels + the Billet pack!) - hard to find an XR so highly spec'd ;-)
(the Billet Pack includes span adjustable front brake and clutch levers + (rearsets with carbon heal guards) adjustable footpeg position + adjustable rear brake and gear levers)
...plus added by me:
(**NB** the OEM mirrors will be refitted - bar-end mirrors removed + Quad-lok phone mount removed + dual USB port removed [DIN socket refitted]. The Anti-Gravity battery monitor and charge lead will be removed also.)
In addition to a pile of paperwork (history) I will include a USB stick with, amongst many docs, a copy of the workshop service manual.
• Arrow full stainless steel exhaust headers with carbon Akrapovic silencer (fitted by Vertu Motorrad Exeter) with BHP UK ECU tune. (BHP Flasher Unit included)
Makes for a much improved riding experience. No flat spots, pulls lower revs, improved torque, smoother quickshifter action.... and no start-up over revs!
Oh....and it sounds ace (not excessively loud.... I have fitted an inline baffle;-)
• Hyperpro Purple -20 mm lower Rear Spring (BMW S 1000 XR ESA: SKU: SP-BM10-SSB018 Category: Lowering kit rear).
Fitted by independent BMW specialist + front forks lowered through the triple clamps by 15mm.
(I am 5'11" tall so this wasn't strictly speaking a necessary upgrade but with a 65 year old motorcycle crash damaged body it was a great mod!)
As reported by others, at worst the change doesn't affect handling but if anything the bike handles better than ever.
• BMW 'M' Billet Chain Adjuster / paddock stand fittings (stupid money!)
• S1000RR Custom M Style Front Mudguard + Pyramid Extenda Fenda
• Carbon Fibre Hugger Extender
• BMW Radiator Guard Set
• Evotech Crash Protection bungs with light brackets
• Evotech Rectifier Guard
• CNC Side Stand Shoe / Extender
• Whilst not fitted I do have a centre stand ;-)
• Bespoke powder coated metal plate fitted to the BMW (de-humped) rack to take magnetic day bags.
• PPF (Paint Protection Film kit) - there are a few places where dirt has gotten under the edge of the film (poor fitting of the kit!) but immaculate unmarked plastics underneath. Really easy job to remove PPF or leave as imperfect but still fully functional.
Balance of 3 year BMW warranty remaining.
The bike is REALLY well looked after - never been out on salty roads (hibernates for winter, super clean always - original owner was very much a like minded individual to me)
No track days, no knee down antics, no wheelies (yes I'm that old and knackered lol)... you won't find a better S1000XR imho.
Come and have a look for yourself and you'll see this is a rare chance to buy such a special used S1000XR ;-)

Can a newer S1000XR be found for this money - yes. Can a 2023 S1000XR be found for less money - yes
But I defy you to find one as well spec'd, in better condition either way! ;-)
