For Sale Sale of Exped Mats

Anyone have purchase experience from them? I see so many scam retailers for outdoor gear so cautious about jumping on a sale with one I've not heard of before.

I’ve bought a couple of Exped mats from them over the last few years. No concerns with buying from them.

Yep, me too. Bought a few bits from them with no issues whatsoever.

Just to come back on this - made a purchase and very happy especially with speed of delivery. Thanks all for the referral and endorsements.

Thanks, just had mine delivered today to go on the Helinox COT and its superb! I bought the MW Deep Sleep mattress

To be honest... I'm not impressed with them. My second exped had the ribs go in Iceland this year and it's not a comfortable sleep when you have a huge bubble in the middle of your back for 14 nights. I'll be looking elsewhere for my next one.

That’s exactly what mine did but up on Mull

Rocky Burns & Lodgey, I’m just wondering how hard you inflated your airbeds?
Genuine question. I’ve had 2 Exped sleeping mats for years and never experienced a problem with mine BUT I do like them pumped up the soft side. I’m wondering if it’s an over pressure issue?
I also have 2 Thermarest mats and not had a problem with them either. :nenau And there’s a lot of pressure on them when I get on them! :D

Only ever inflated so that the heaviest part of me was around 1/2 from the ground, probably go down the Thermarest route this year

The date of exped mats is printed somewhere along the seam up where the valves are - you have to poke about to find it. There was date I read somewhere (I think 2020) where the mats of all specifications had a problem with the seams bursting. They fixed it around December 2020(?). I’ve had three mats let go in that way, all older ones, 2 replaced no quibble under warranty (5years) including one that was purchased in Norway, the other turned out to be 7 years old so a replacement was not unreasonably refused by Lion Equipment the uk distributor.
