Salisbury Plain 21st Sept

Going to go upto Salisbury plain with Adrian (xbootie) on the 21st.

I have only ridden on the plain once and don't know the area well enough to lead a large group of people that haven't been off road before.

Thought we would meet anyone else who fancied a ride at 11:00 near to Stonehenge and ride the track / tracks that run clockwise from there around the top of the plain and then explore the eastern side abit.

Now being a Thursday it is difficult to say whether there will be much millitary stuff in the area which will obviously govern were we can go, and if it is busy then we just find somewhere else to play.

Gather it is alittle wet up there now so TK's would be the order of the day.

I understand Steptoe is thinking of possibily having a beginners day up there in the future which would be alot more suited to those who haven't taken a GS off road before and if he does I will try to get up to that cos it would be a top day out.

Will confirm nearer the time. I'm not one for planning things weeks, months or years in advance. Just realised its the Fox & Hounds meet this Friday night, then Princetown second weekend in Sept. Thats far enough into the future for me. Live for the day!

Just realised it's the 21st today.

Not had chance to swap back to TKCs after trip away so looks like I'll have to give this a miss unfortunately.
