Salmon Fishing in the Yemen

I really get peed off with Ewan McGreggor--how does he end up with such gorgeous leading ladies? The latest is Emily Blunt (from The Devil wears Prada) in the forthcoming film, Salmon Fishing in Yemen.

It was shot in gorges near Ouarzazate. It looks a really interesting film which will be released towards the end of 2011.

Whilst Ewan was in Ouarzazate he hired Peter Grey from Wilderness Wheels to take him out offroad riding. Hopefully the filming was finished by then.

Blimey read that wrong, my initial thought was the salmon would object to that sort of thing.

Read the book a few years a go, could make an excellent film but if Hollywood are on the case . . .

I'm a bit confused with the cast list, is Bridgit Maxwell (Kisten Scott Thomas) a substitute for Peter Maxwell?

And has Mary (Alfred's wife) been written out of the plot?
