Good luck with the book launch on Saturday although luck shouldn't come into it as your first book was so damned good. I won't be coming down to Dorchester as it's my birthday that day - three score years and one - but I've left the order form lieing around you kindly sent and dropped hints - "Oh you are SO DIFFICULT to buy presents for". You must try to interest Richard & Judy in it

Met Sam & Birgit at the south west pipe & slipper a.g.m. on Sunday, bought the book,Sam signed it for me. Top read, half way through it & really enjoying it. Just shown it to a colleague to read the pages on New Zealand as he emigrates there next month. I read Sams first book & can also fully recommend it, My wife bought that by post for Xmas two years ago direct from Sam, he also signed that one & enclosed a lovely little note.
