Samsung Laptops

My sister bought very similar to that from sainsburys last weekend.
She wanted it for www, photos nad documents. Samsung she bought was roundabout that price too - she seems pleased with hers.

John Lewis I am sure do a price promise and also include a 2 year guarantee. Often check them out when considering buying stuff.

It will be as good as the other brands made in the same Chinese factory from the same generic components.

As posts in other threads indicate, it's the back-up you get when things go wrong that is the big variable.

As JL are willing to put their own 2 year guarantee on the laptop you can bet that they have the Samsung support contract in place to keep their customers happy.

The price is very similar to http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/Sams...D_Win7_HP_NP-R540-JA0BUK/version.asp#maindesc so you are effectively getting an extra 12 months of warranty plus JL customer service thrown in for a fiver.

I've owned three- two netbooks which have survived very well on the bike and both been very much abused.. and a full size laptop which again has been very good.

Good value for £££, quality has been decent. I certainly wouldn't hesitate in buying another Samsung.

:beerjug:

Wot about Dell Inspiron £289 for basic which must work :confused:or does'nt it? or £329, £349 with extra RAM etc. and 3yr Mcafee. On the Dell website. Any good?
