I want to connect my NC10 to the TV, to watch streamed TV channels...like this weekend's World Superbikes.....:clap

Is it simply a case of buying a VGA cable, and connecting them up?.....TV does have VGA in........

Any pitfalls?....Will it all go POP!!!!!...Is it worth doing? (resolution?)....

I've just got this awful 'incompatibility' feeling.....:mmmm

TIA........:) :thumb2

if your TV is a Plasma/ LCD then yes it's a matter of taking the VGA (15pinHD) cable to connect the two.

resolution well it should support 1024x768 or similar so should be fine.

if your TV is an older CRT then it might not unless you've got a Video output card but it'll look ruff...

best of luck

TV is a modern, Sony flat screen jobby, with a VGA input....so it should be just as you say.

Thanks for the input gents.....appreciated.......:thumb2

Do you have a Wii (or I guess PS3 or Xbox)? Mine's connected to the TV and plays things like BBC iPlayer through the wireless network. Picture quality is a little rough, but otherwise generally better than huddling around a laptop screen.
