Sargent-BMW Seat 1100GS

I am evaluating buying Sargent seat(s) for my red 1100GS. Ideally I only want to buy the front seat and retain the original rear and then use the spare cash to fund a Schuberth J1.

Anybody have such a mix on a similar bike and, if so, what does it look like (photo would be great)?

Any help will be gratefully received.

i have the front sergent and normal rear on my 1150, looks good, cant do photos, but i assure you it looks ok

Great to hear from a fellow Cumbrian. Thanks for your input. I am loath to spend the extra £214 on a rear seat just for show so your opinion is very welcome.

front sargent

I had a front sargent seat on my 850 with a standard rear, as mentioned above it looked absolutely fine.

I had the same thought as you, save your pennies unless you have a regular pillion on the rear.
