I cannot stress enough how good these are, I had bought a Touratech comfy seat and sent it back as I still got pain after about an hour

I picked up one of these and its a world above both the standard and Touratech seats.

An excellent buy for someone who gets butt pain

Agreed, the most comfortable seats for a BMW in my opinion.

If you suffer as I do from prostate issues and have lower back ache/coccyx pain after an hour in the saddle, I highly recommend a Sargent seat.

I was lucky to pick up a fairly old used one as the full kit for a 1200/1250 complete with heat controller wiring.

Sadly the element had been damaged during the previous ownership by strapping down on a ferry. I repaired it, only for the fancy LED handlebar heat controller to then burn out in the rain riding back from Belgium. £185 later for a new heat "Heat Boss" dial type controller (LED type are obsolete) and I have variable voltage to the seat connector, sadly the seat reads zero ohms instead of 8 ohms so now I have another break in the element I need to fix or I may just replace the whole heating pad for new.

I will get my seat stripped/repaired/recovered and tested ASAP as I love the bloody thing, meanwhile its back to the BMW jelly based unsupportive instrument of torture.

I bought an unheated version of this seat from Nick a couple of weeks ago and have done almost 2k miles on it since then and it is honestly like night and day compared to the stock seat.
