Maybe the lowered version would suit better.
Not scientifically measured, but I think that my lowered Sargent is around the same as a standard GS seat when on the high setting and around an inch lower on the low setting. I'm a 29" inside leg and manage fine as long as I plan where I'm stopping with regard to road camber.
If you do have dodgy knees, remember that you will have to bend them slightly more with a lowered seat.
Then you'll need to lower your foot rests...
Also, 300 mile days with no problem. I found the standard seat torture in a lot less.
