Earlier this year I bought some kevlar lined jeans from Sartso along with some knee protectors. The jeans are great, really good quality and look good too.

The knee protectors didn't turn up and after a few emails I made a phone call over Skype to find out why.

The guys run the company out of Australia. The reason I haven't received my knee armour is because they have other things to think about.

From what I can gather, with Hein Gericke going bust, they've decided to avoid paying Sartso around £250,000 which for a small company is a bit difficult to stomach. Apparently, the management at HG are avoiding taking calls and are refusing to pay. As the chap from Sartso said, the big guy are just taking the little guys to the cleaners and don't care at all who it affects. HG will just start up again under a different name and screw someone else.

It was a shame to hear how desperate things have got for this chap at Sartso. I hope they can trade through it and recover their money from HG as their products are really good.

I don't really know what to suggest, I feel like I want to help, but have no idea what, if anything, I can do. It's a shame really.

God know how any relatively small business can get over the loss of 250k. My son, new in to business is already owed quite an amount but not so much it'd break him. Credit for these business's will be drying up very soon unless they pay up. You just don't need business like that

i thought HG was only pulling out of UK, and not "going bust"
is all of HG up against the wall?
crikey!

Its just the HG franchise in uk gone belly up, not HG in europe
