I got my new Triple Black at the beginning of January, and have been trying to set up the Sat Nav (Zumo 660)/Intaride Hawk(wired) system. Not being a fan of blue tooth, I was looking to see if I could get a wired sound feed out of the BMW satnav holder, directly to the Hawk.

So, I decided to use the Zumo 'sound out' plug on the r/h side, but it was covered by the holder. I drilled a hole in the holder and plugged a 3.5 lead into the socket. through a noise filter to the 'music in' lead of the Hawk unit. Works fine, so no more faffing about with charging/pairing a bluetooth unit.

This may be of help to others, would work with Autocom etc.

Before anyone say anything, yes the hole needs tidying up.

Ah, I did wonder about that, so looks like I will keep my 660. Rather have easy conections than use of the scroll wheel.

Ah, I did wonder about that, so looks like I will keep my 660. Rather have easy conections than use of the scroll wheel.

I changed from my Zumo 660 to a Nav5 on my GS-LC and I'm really pleased that I did, the Bluetooth works great with my Schuberth, the nav integrates with the bike properly using the scroll, and it's easier to see and read with my old eyes, which was my main reason for the swap.

Does the Zumo give you all the bike read outs (speed, engine temp, wheel pressures etc) ?
