Save money-simple check

Lift the black plastic cover off the top yolk, fork brace in BMW speak, and check that it's dry inside. If it is replace the cap using a sealant. If it isn't it may be too late and you need a new steering bearing. DAMHIK.

Do the same with the left leading link cover or you may find the alloy pivot bolt cap has corroded in place. Great fun removing that.
