Just finished work at our bike school today and the local boys and girls turned up after a ride for a wedding reception for two of them so we got them all to park on our patch.

This great hand made bike was amongst them, engine rebuilt by a local HA the rest apart from paint done by the owner who'd had it since '97... converted hand gear change and suicide clutch etc etc.. apparently a ride bitch to live with but very nice:beerjug:

I know where there's a a very late Iron head sportster just sitting around, hasn't been run for a few years. he's talking about £2k for it. I keep thinking about getting it for a project bike. It's the one with the evo frame so must be 85ish. I fancy something like the sporty on ebay at the minute (item 330778538466) without the orange bits though and not in black.

We were in the Harley dealer at uppingham today, theyre taking the piss with the asking price of second hand bikes. Most were around the £11,000 to £12,000 mark

Looking at Tims picture. Why is there always a shit trike hanging around somewhere near custom bikes and why are their owners the only ones who think they look uber cool :nenau

So this feller rides into a land Rover dealers on this.....

He hasn't riden it in two years, it lives in a warm plastic bubble and apparently with modifications cost a cool £35 k a few years ago
My friend the sales manager swoons and has to have it, which he did, won't tell me what he paid, but way north of 10k would be my bet.

Ps its cleaner than a clean thing, and not that enjoyable to ride !!!

A lot of money for essentially a bog stock bike with some extra chrome and a paint job
