Saw my old GS yesterday

I had a phone call yesterday from the new owner of my 1200GS asking if I had any luggage etc to sell.

So I headed over to Glasgow with a van load of goodies. Now it turns out he's the new Triumph service manager at MCS where I bought the Tiger

I hope it never lets him down or my Tiger will be in for a kicking when its in for service

Speaking to him he has had several BMWs. I have come across this a lot guys who spend all week working with one brand of bike/car often own something different. Harley being the exception

Mechanicing is mechanicing.If you can service a modern Triumph,some old teutonic ditchpump aint gonna be any bother.
Besides,maybe the service manager plans to leave the 1200 in pieces around the shop to persuade customers to buy a Trumpet.
