Decide that my 10 twin cam is a keeper and have treated it to a rather nice new can. Took the opportunity to remove the valve thingy which I have found out was sticking about 25% shut when it should have been straight through. Used one of the link pipes bought from here, no problem. Sound is very nice and not any noisier than stock but it does come with a free flowing baffle which I haven't tried yet. Weighs next to nothing and I like it.

So that's Wilbers ESA, hilltop tune and the exhaust. Was a lot cheaper than a trade in.

I paid £350 delivered at the exchange rate in April. Took about 10 days from Italy as I think they make to order rather than pick from stock.

Looks very well made and nicely finished.

Hi
I'm considering this slip-on model and have already paid Geoff a visit. I read the Motorrad magazine test 18 2013, stating a little increase in performance and the sound being quite loud. That might have been with the baffle out...

Had you already removed the valve thing and put the SC-project on when visiting Hilltop?
What was your pre/post figures on the dyno?

(This is not meant to start a discussion about the validity of the numbers again, plenty of that already)

Thanks :-)

I might have thought can should have been fitted before dyno tune. Although im not sure whether there would be much if any performance gain. The main advantage would be the weight loss compared to the OEM can that weighs a bloody ton :-D
