Scala G9 speakers

Anyone know if the speakers can be detached and repalced with earphones

I have a G9 and the speakers are not detachable as they are hardwired. The only way would be to cut the wires.

don't know if this helps but I found these threads about speaker mods for the G4 and can only assume its possible on the G9.

Anyway have a read... the thread by 'Golevi' has a photo blow by blow of how to do it.

I sent my G4 off to Ultimate Ear and they replaced the speakers with a socket so I could use my in ear monitors. Very neat and professional job too.

Did mine myself.
No problems at all. Just need to note that the green wire is signal & red wire is ground.
