Scala Rider FM - Charging the battery

I have sent this message to Cardo support, has anybody got any opinions? The headset is only provided with a mains charger - not too much good if you are lightweight camping.

It appears that the Scala Charger also fits my Nokia phone. Does this mean that I can charge the headset while touring with a Nokia in-car/on bike charger (cigarette lighter jobee)? This would make life a lot easier if 240 is not available.

I've been using the unit a week with a Zumo 550 seems good. Phone/Zumo clarity is very good as is the radio.

Could you take the circuitry out of a Nokia car charger and replace it with a
"power regulator" and get the jack from "Maplins".



It would be handy to be able to charge without mains.:eyesdown
