Scarcliffe - every Tuesday

Loads of old BMWs along with every other bike you can think of, some great surrounding roads too.

I got nearly every Tuesday with a group of Sheffield and Yorkshire based riders from another forum.

Usually meet at the Red Lion at the Todwick crossroads on the A57 just off M1 J31. 6pm meet at Red Lion

Hi Zero, will you chaps be going next Tuesday after the bank hol? I could do with meeting some new faces running in the new bike and a chat about HIDs,

Ill no doubt be there with some of the SheffieldBikers lot.

There are sometime a few GSers down there but not sure they are UKGSers.

Come and join us, and bring some more with you if you like.

They wont start serving food till a week next tuesday (21st) but I still like to go down. There is a reasonable turnout at this time of year, and if you get there for a decent time then ride on to Matlock you can get food before they shut.

Scarcliffe, that's about ten minutes from my house, never knew there was a meet there!

And I ride past the Red Lion on the occasional times that I actually go into the office. Must try to make one next time I'm in the UK, where do you end up in Scarcliffe assuming that I'll be late......as usual?

Ah ah, thats where everyone hangs out, we arrived at Scarcliffe a bit late as most were getting ready for off, will have to be there earlier next week but no one set out from the Red Lion at Todwick?

I wasn't expecting a pub, thought it was a cafe. 20 mins away and never knew about it!
Matlock was disappointing tonight expected masses after a nice day?

the wife finished work late yesterday, I got down there for around 7pm.

Spotted a few GSers but didnt get round to introducing myself.

Ill endeavour to meet at the red lion at an agreed time for next week.

Could also lead out to Matlock Bath for dinner after Scarcliffe if your up for it.

but I'll av to warn you I eat very exotically, the last time I went to Matlock (last week) I fancied an Australian dish so I ordered kangaroo bollocks on toast. 10 mins later the waitress came out and said "sorry sir but what you ordered is not available today, we've run out of bread"
Fish n chips would be a close 4th!

Red Lion Tuesday 21st 6 for 6.15 depart? We could go to Scarcliffe, Matlock or Wetherby & meet up with the W /N Yorks cronies.....

Ill try and be there. Might be worth waiting till 6:30 and have a drinky at the Red Lion as many folk cant get there for 6 or 6:15.

I went across woodhead last night at around 11pm in the rain and it was fine.
