Our computer kept crashing as soon as we started to connect to the net so we where told to un-install the disc and install the aol disc again it seemed to work.
But then it started to connect to the internet by itself? We where sitting on the other side of the room and it just started to connect itself -Scary stuff as it was about 12 at night:eek:

When it did it said something about E-Bay toolbar had activated it or something?
So the only way round it so far is not to put our automatic passwords in (ie dont tick the little box) in and do it when we sign up

Anyone know whats going on?

could be the ebay toolbar connecting for some sort of daily update, but could be one of these nasty trojn diallers that were in the press recently. Get a virus/spyware scan done asap

AOL - anything orrible lurks

nothing personal but saw this & thought of you

your problem i mean :D

The only way i have fixed it is to sign up each time with my password and not have the password already there when i connect.
I think alot of problems is the fact that i only have 125ram and although the disc space is only half full it loads up very very slowly as with firewall, anti-virus, spyware etc etc loaded in it.
But i have found out that i cannott upgrade the Ram ! My fault for buying a cheap unit 2 years ago.
Still, At christmas the Dogs bollocks of PC's are being brought by Father Christmas , and it will be running over 1,000 ram!:)
